πŸ“– "I am fighting for my three daughters"

My name is Samantha Wamp. I am 34 years old and a mother of three beautiful young daughters, aged 8, 5, and 4. I am currently fighting esophageal cancer and am asking for your support as I continue treatment.

After losing my father in July 2023, I became seriously unwell. I spent months in and out of hospitals in Papua New Guinea, including a long admission at Port Moresby General Hospital. During that time, I became weaker, lost weight, struggled to swallow food, and needed multiple blood transfusions. Because of limited medical facilities, doctors were unable to give me a clear diagnosis.

On 18 November 2024, my family helped send me to Malaysia for further testing, where I was diagnosed with Stage 3B Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Tuberculosis. By God's grace, the TB was cleared and the cancer in my esophagus was treated. Sadly, recent scans have now shown that the cancer has spread to my liver in two spots. I now need ongoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and possibly further treatment. My oncologist has advised that I will need immunotherapy for at least two years.

The cost of one cycle of treatment is about PGK 20,000 per month. For the past 15 months, my family, friends, and community have worked tirelessly to help me, even fundraising through food sales. Their love and sacrifice have carried me this far, but we cannot do this alone anymore.

Your support will help cover my chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hospital stays, scans, medications, and any further treatment I may need. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference. If you are unable to give, please share this campaign and keep me in your prayers.

I am fighting not only for myself, but for my three daughters, who still need their mother. Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support.
